Job Purpose
“This position is open with Bajaj Finance ltd.” The prospective candidate shall perform checks to identify process and documentation lapses basis process set by Legal and Compliance teams.

Job Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities

• Professional qualification like Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary with 8 - 10 years’ post qualification experience. Law Graduation will be an added advantage.

• Understanding of relevant laws and regulations particularly on the banking and NBFC sector.

• Working experience in a reputed bank/financial institution in Compliance, Operations and/or Audit functions at the Branch or HO.

• Proactive in dealing with legal and regulatory risks including that of strategy, implementation, while focusing and protecting the Company’s interest at all times.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and relationship management, drafting and negotiation skills.

• Strong desire and able to work in a high paced growing and ever demanding environment.


 Should be a self-starter and a team player. Should be able to manage the team in the near future, which include constant motivation, grooming, retention, etc.

• Should be able to work under pressures, result oriented and problem solving approach in dealing with various legal and regulatory issues.

• Strong Command in assessing the operational risks in various businesses and their mitigation measures.

• Identify the process lapses in various business operations for total compliance.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure the relevant legal and regulatory requirements are well understood and are implemented within the Company while maintaining the relevant documentation.

• Review all standard Documentation from time to time and address any deficiencies in the same by taking up with the relevant teams.

• Responsible for frequent unscheduled checks and finding the gaps, if any, in the approved processes.

• Provide practical & value-added solutions to various issues identified keeping the business interest in mind

• Abreast oneself on changes in laws and regulations from time to time.

• Should identify various process implementation gaps on a regular basis.

• Travel at short notice on the work and support the growth environment of the Company.

Additional Information

• Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary with 8 - 10 years’ of post qualification experience. Law Graduation will be an added advantage.

• Should have worked for reputed Banks/Financial Institutions with diverse fields of business interests.

• Excellent analytical & communication skills, clarity of thoughts and perseverance.
